Idle tappers usually throw hordes of monsters at you to defeat in order to progress. And if said monsters are too powerful and end up defeating you, your progress ends up getting thrown back a few levels. Star Tap rids the need of monsters and instead has you helping protagonist Stella as she travels from planet to planet.

To help with your journey are drones that collect resources which are needed for upgrades and to level up your ship. As your ship goes up in level, you gain access to special abilities that get rid of the tapping work for you temporarily, and also push you toward the next planet that much faster.

There’s also a cute little storyline to go with the satisfying gameplay with some great hand-drawn graphics. The stress free environment in Star Tap provides an incredibly satisfactory idle tapper experience.
