Crab War Boss

Churn through them bosses to evolve your crabs.

For the hardcore players out there, there is a helluvalot of playability in Crab War. After you get your main crab level to six hundred and fifty, you have the option to perform Ecdysis. When performing Ecdysis, you moult and get reborn, gaining DNA that can be used to research mutations.

I know that doesn’t really make sense off the bat, so here’s an easier to understand explanation. Firstly, there are things called Mutations. Mutations will provide bonuses to things like overall damage, speed etc. To research a Mutation you need DNA. To gain DNA, you need to perform Ecdysis.

Once you perform Ecdysis, you will start the game again from the very beginning, but you will keep any Mutations you manage to research. In other words, the aim of the game is to research all of the Mutations and upgrade them to gain the best bonuses to help in your journey.

The further you get through the game, and the higher level you manage to get your Queens to will determine how much DNA you receive from Ecdysis.

Premium Currency

Clicker games will usually have a premium currency that can be used to perform special abilities such as instantly refreshing the cooldowns of all your abilities, instantly killing an enemy, and other such things.

The premium currency in Crab War comes in the form of pearls. Pearls can be purchased with real money or be earned through achievements, or butterfly bonuses.

Aesthetic Charm

Crab War Graphics

Does what it says on the tin.

What I really love about Crab War is the background music. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, filled with ethereal sounds that can help soothe your soul, but unfortunately, not your muscles.

In true Appxplore form, the graphics are nice and colourful, presented in a simple and clean 2D style.

Final Thoughts

Crab War is a very pleasant clicker game to play that stays true to the familar formula clicker fans will know. Because there’s a slight delay in dealing damage due to the fact that the crabs have to make their way to the enemy, you can relax a little bit more when churning through enemies.

Be warned, Crab War is incredibly addictive and once you start tapping, you mightn’t be able to stop! Take regular breaks and keep your arms and wrists limber by making sure you stretch between sessions. Trust me… it’s not nice having sore wrist muscles for days!

Update: Crab War has launched globally so the whole world can play!
