Koihime Enbu Gameplay and Review on YouTube

There are a tonne of fighting games on the gaming market these days, and only a few of them stand out from the crowd. 2D fighters have been and gone, and brought back again using Anime style graphics. However, when one thinks of Anime style games, the thoughts that follow are usually along the lines of perverted panty flashes and ridiculously short skirts. Thankfully Koihime Enbu provides a lot more than this.

The combat in Koihime Enbu is fairly fast paced and combos are incredibly enjoyable to pull off using one of the current thirteen playable characters. You can play through the usual game modes such as Scenario, Arcade, Training and more.

3 stars – fast-paced 2D fighting game that provides a basic fighter experience

Good PointsPluses:

  • Gorgeous Anime style graphics
  • Original Japanese voice-overs (no dubs!!)
  • Satisfying fast-paced gameplay with fun combos to pull off

Bad PointsMinuses:

  • Characters all play pretty much the same
  • Ultimate moves are rather budget to look at
  • Scenario mode’s stories don’t really provide enough incentive to care about
