Resident Evil 2 Remake Gameplay and Review on YouTube

I absolutely loved Resident Evil 2 on PSone. My brother and I would hire it from the video shops way back when and eventually I found it in a second hand store and bought it. That was one of my proudest gaming moments to own my own copy.

The game was stunning back then and the remake is just as good if not better in some ways. Obviously it will never compare to the nostalgic bliss the original provided, but it WILL put a bit smile on your face.

Resident Evil 2 Remake Score

5 Star Review

5 stars – an amazing remake of an absolutely classic and blissfully scary game. Keep extra undies handy

Good PointsPluses:

  • Superb graphics using the RE Engine
  • Exploring familiar locales from a third-person point of view is so exciting
  • Combat is fluid, movement is nowhere near clunky

Bad PointsMinuses:

  • I miss the ability to dodge and take down floored zombies with a stomp
