The Culling Gameplay and First Impressions

The idea of being sent into an arena to either kill or be killed by up to fifteen other players is perfect for a game. Of course it has been done heaps of times before in games like Nosgoth, Hawken, DOTA and other PVP style games. But none of them have placed you in the shoes of an ordinary human being forced to survive using their environment, or die and no longer participate in that battle. The Culling Gameplay and First Impressions on YouTube

The Culling is a battle-royale style game where sixteen players are placed in an arena and are forced to scavenge materials and items in order to kill or be killed.

Feel free to play The Culling solo if you think you have what it takes to be the winner, or team up in groups of two. Each game lasts around twenty minutes and ends when there is only one player (or team) left alive. Towards the end of a match, poisonous gas starts to constrict certain areas of the arena, filtering players towards the centre of the map.

Weapons can be constructed by using items such as rocks or branches. Alternatively you can scour the arena for lockers or boxes to see if you can find some more advanced equipment like guns or body armour. Guns aren’t necessarily a massive advantage, as ammunition is limited. However, if you’re not careful, a well placed melee blow might render you weaponless.

Should you prefer to play the tactical game, try crafting or finding traps to set and take out your enemies. But keep in mind other players will be thinking of using this same idea.

If you like the idea of being stuck in an arena surrounded only by other bloodthirsty contestants, definitely check out The Culling!
