The Turing Test Gameplay and Review

The Turing Test has been compared to Portal and the Talos Principle far too many times, but then again with what it is, how could it not be? If you forget about Portal and the Talos Principle altogether and enjoy The Turing Test for what it is, it’s really quite a fun little puzzle game. See what we thought in The Turing Test gameplay and review video below!

The Turing Test Gameplay and Review on YouTube

If you enjoy puzzles that will put your brain to the test whilst at the same time providing a little bit of a story, The Turing Test is definitely for you. But if you’re really smart and have an IQ like people in Mensa or other genius groups, the puzzles might feel a bit lacking.

That’s not to say the puzzles are easy. It’s just there aren’t enough hard ones. When you eventually come to a rather tricky puzzle, you’ll be stuck for a good twenty minutes or so. But after that, you might churn through levels like I eat my dinner… fast!

The Turing Test isn’t for everyone, but if you’re the type who takes a lot of pleasure in first-person puzzle games, this one’s right up your alley! If you prefer a story over brain-training, you’re probably out of luck. However, I had a rather good time playing The Turing Test even though it didn’t take long!

  • Some voice acting is marvellous
  • Decent puzzles will get you thinking

Bad PointsMinuses:

  • Puzzles could be harder
  • Story is a bit clichéd
  • Goes by too quickly
